Jacob Teeple, born 17 Nov 1839, was the third son of Jacob Teeple and Nancy Bilyeu from TN who moved near Crocker, Pulaski Co MO, where they settled for life. Father and son served in the Confederate Army and were imprisoned in Alton IL where Jacob Sr died. Jacob Jr married Mary Ann Plain in 1867 in IL and returned to Crocker where he died 5 Mar 1917.

       Jacob and Nancy's children were: Peter, Isiac, Jacob, Margaret, Diana, Nancy, and Hannah. Jacob and Mary Ann&#39s children were: Charles Elbert, John Elmer, Lillie May, James Albert, Hannah Lavonne, Robert E. Lee, Emma Ellen, and one which died at birth.

       This family has many interested researchers. My files contain over 240 individuals and I know that there are many more known to belong to this line.
